Saidika Organization, in partnership with Hydrotec Solutions and community-based partners, will implement a climate-resilient water access project in Kasaye Village (Kisumu County) and Kibra (Nairobi County). The project will involve hydrogeological assessments, borehole drilling and equipping, solar-powered water pumping systems, water storage tanks, water purification technologies, distribution points, and community water management structures. Community members will be trained on water governance, system maintenance, hygiene, and sanitation practices to ensure sustainability. The project is expected to be implemented over 18–24 months, directly benefiting thousands of households, schools, health facilities, and vulnerable groups. By providing reliable access to clean and safe water, the initiative will reduce waterborne diseases, save time spent fetching water, improve educational outcomes, strengthen livelihoods, enhance climate resilience, and create healthier, more productive communities. Ultimately, the project will contribute to sustainable development, poverty reduction, and improved quality of life for underserved populations.
